Think about it this way... If we do live in a fractal universe, which the data is pointing in that direction more than any other theory I see out there, then ponder this notion...

VV: I call it the Ferriswheel Effect®

Remember the feeling you had as a kid riding one of the simplest rides at the amusement park? At the top of the Ferriswheel you would slightly loose your stomach as you topped the ride and started your descent downward. Your consciousness actually "felt" this action and even though it was a simple ride it did give a simple thrill to the riders. Think about it this way...

We are on this planet and spinning around as the Earth spins while all the time it is orbiting around our Sun, Our Sun is in an orbit around the milkyway Galaxy and the Galaxy is speeding through space and time. Never in your life do you ever visit a certain point in our universe for more than a fraction of a second and never will you ever visit the same point in space twice in your life because of the motion of the planet and solor system and galaxy etc...

Now think of it this way also, the universe is in an ever "expanding" flux and the fabric of space and time is being stretched all the while you are in a motion throughout space in many directions. Most things is our universe are of a cyclic nature and just as the Ferriswheel tops the arc in the curve and gives us that feeling of free fall as we start to head downward, I believe that our point in time and history as calculated by the Maya calendar may show a point in this cylitric pattern that may be repeating itself... Not that we are in the same point in space but in the same pattern of existence and our consciousness is expanding in this point in space... Just as I claim the universe to be fractal, and our universe is expanding into the next outer dimension of this fractal, we are consciously "feeling" this effect in our lives right now as it happens...

Is this what 2012 is all about? I wouldn't bet on it but this effect that I talk about is happening right now and we are moving into a point in not only space, but another type of "time" in that we are moving into another dimension and all movement is, is frequency and the frequency is still going to be the same but in a harmonic of itself and our consciouness gives way to this event and we are the universe becoming aware of itself in this never-ending spiral expansion into the space time contiuum.

What does this have to do with 2012? Nothing unless it's the point that we pass a threshhold in our expansion and movement beyond our capabilities of understanding... This is just speculation but interesting to note in the coming years as we move closer to the event horizon that the Maya have "Marked" and modern man is focusing on... or it could just be good fiction that gives way to a higher thinking and understanding of our universe.

The problem I find with atomism is that when you come down to the finite parts that make up everything, as soon as our technology gets better then we eventually find out that those parts are made up of something too and those parts are too which leads us back to the infinite hierarchical Nesting of matter...
I believe that no matter how small something is eventually it can be split into smaller parts on through infinity. That's is why we can't destroy matter because it exists throughout infinity, all you can do is change it into another form. So you can't say that matter cannot be destroyed then turn around and say that there is a beginning to that same matter... If there was a beginning then there could be an end and like I always say, if there was a big bang (which I doubt there was) then there was always something before the big bang to have caused the big bang in the first place and there will always be something afterwards...
