A CRUDE AWAKENING

"An unforgettable and shocking wake-up call, A CRUDE AWAKENING offers the rock-solid argument that the era of cheap oil is in the past. Relentless and clear-eyed, this intensively-researched film drills deep into the uncomfortable realities of a world that is both addicted to fossil fuels and blissfully unaware of the looming "peak oil" crisis."

Then there are others who will argue that there is indeed plenty of oil left, and that "they"--the powers that be, are creating this crisis in order to further their agenda....to keep people in fear, oppressed by the media and the military, and meanwhile, they are making a sh*tload! of money off of all this....

    same with the water crisis.....

personally, i think at some point, it does run out...it's fossil fuels, afterall....leftover dinosaur rottings and whatnot....

Well its good to hear both sides of an issue. Just goes to show how little we really know about what is going on in international politics.

Its a shame these issues havent been brought to light until recently, mindlessly taking oil for granted for all these years. The people in the video suggest things will be bad when we reach $50/ barrel, its easily over $100 / barrel today.

In any case, yes one day we will have to run out of oil. Whether or not that is emminent or not. NO plans appear to be on the books for how we will suppliment our energy needs. All we can expect now IS a crisis.

Overall, I thought the video was visually stunning and quite thought provoking.
