Saw this a Moment ago at the theater. It was an interesting foray into the area of alien abduction and ancient Sumerian gods but the story was obviously fake. The supposed archived footage looked too staged and just when there was about to be what could be taped evidence the footage became fuzzy, blurred and choppy. I have had a close encounter of the first kind before and from my own experience the kind of energy I felt was more of a contentedness.

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sat, November 7, 2009 - 12:10 AMhmmm... i'll go see it. i just watched the trailer and i'm a little nervous about it.
www.thefourthkind.net/
in my abduction, the white noise was a precursor to contact, kinda hard to explain but i wonder how this will pan out in the movie.
i'm comparing notes! its not fun, no sir... i'm still unsure if ufos and abductions are related (closely).
on that note, i had lunch with dr. richard boylan this week. strangely. very... i almost convinced him he wast the dr. r. boylan i was familiar with, from art bell days. he assured me he was. i was wondering what he was doing at an indigenous water summit. i'm still not clear, but he was an important feature to california indians and water systems. its a strange world, so much...
this reminded me... lol... -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sat, November 7, 2009 - 2:35 PMI think I understand what you mean by the white noise. Like a rushing wave in the ocean but in your head like your ears are about to pop. I may have had contact when I was a child which would explain the Praying Mantis phobia but I do not remember anything, only the UFO sighting. I usually wake up at night when I feel a tingling sensation on my skin just like when static electricity makes the hair on your arms stick straight up. -

Sat, November 7, 2009 - 3:15 PMOr the scoop marks on the leg!!!
Always the right leg and I have a friend who live a couple of hours away who get's the same thing at the same time.
What's the common denominator with most abductees? There's something wrong with them. Canaries in the coalmine are we. -
-
Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 2:05 AMthere's something wrong with everyone. just ask them. if they say there isn't, they're either lying or delusional. something wrong is normal...
nothing wrong is pathological. one would only have to look at the state of the world and know they must have something to do with it since its all relative... -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 2:09 AMI am perfectly comfortable with my wrongness,
and though I always strive for better, more streamlined and downstream action for myself and others-
I don't judge myself for my foibles, ticks, and unhelpful habits~

Sun, November 8, 2009 - 7:27 PMerm, Gerard- have you any more to say about the scoop marks on the right leg? where did you come across that theory? -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 3:05 AMI strongly suspect that alien abductions et al are human misinterpretations of the spiritual process of the soul trying to take better control of the vehicle and being interpreted by the ego as an alien power. -
-
Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 2:53 PMi strongly suspect you are correct wil. it is alien in a sense.
and everyone should adjust and be comfy with their foibles else create bigger ones that might abduct you! lol!

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 4:50 PMInteresting theory Wil, I think you may very well be right. I suspect a chemical imbalance in the brain may be part of it, as coined by R. Strassman in the book "DMT: the Spirit Molecule". Sleep-paralysis may also play a role, since it is very frightening and it can feel as if outside forces are restraining you. -
-
Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 7:08 PMyeah, sounds about right too... but i dunno if it would be considered a chemical imbalance, or just an odd balance, lol.
and whats up with fatpita? strange interjections... lol

Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 8:00 PMI feel that doubting every abduction is just as much naive as believing every one to be true. Of course either way you probably wont know absolutely until it happens to you. I think every abductee has heard the theory of sleep paralysis as that seems to be the only mainstream scientific explanation. -
-
Re: The Fourth Kind
Sun, November 8, 2009 - 8:56 PMyeah, well, i wasn't sleeping and even if it is sleep paralysis, there is for sure another phenomenon occurring that's out of this world, or deep within it. -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Mon, November 9, 2009 - 12:56 AMThe sleep paralysis thing, which happened to me a lot in my teens, is why i came to think what i think about it. It seemed like aliens to me at the time very strongly, but later i came to interpret it as attempted soul contact.

An interesting perspective Wil.
My own theory is that claims of supposed 'abductions' have more to do with unresolved incest issues or sexual assaults/molestations. -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Mon, November 9, 2009 - 2:55 PMSleep paralysis no doubt explains away many scenarios, but the tissue sampling marks are real and numerous. Unless one wants to attribute these to hysterical stigmata there is physical evidence aplenty of real physical abduction and interaction. -

Re: The Fourth Kind
Mon, November 9, 2009 - 9:44 PMEspecially when you have someone a hundred miles away who gets the same mark in the same place at the same time once every five or so years. And that after both of you having a vivid dream about flying through walls and into the night sky.
