It looks to me like many other NewAge inspiration flicks--like the current "Celestine Prophecy," for example, and like it, maybe the secret is making some bucks for its creators, too. IMO, whatever "the secret" is, it's actually that "The big secret in life is that there is no big secret." -

However, if we'd really understood with our whole being how we create our own reality (especially the things and events whcih we don't want but still create), then we wouldn't bitch about any outside events (political or personal), nor would we bitch about "making bucks for other folks".
To many people the information presented in this movie (as cheesy as it is at times) is new information, since this is not taught in any high schools or colleges....for obvious reasons. In that sense it is a "secret" to the majority of people. For others who have studied this kind of material for years and applied it, like you or me, it is a good reminder to truly understand and apply the power of thoughts, beliefs and emotions.........so we can create are reality we truly want and not focus on what we don't want. (which I tend to to a t times, I must admit)
Regarding money......don't give too much importance to it. It's just energy, just like anything else. I choose neither to worship it, nor to hate it, not giving it any importance or attachment to it whatsoever. It comes and goes depending on my attitude towards it, very simple.
Once we understand we all create our own reality, and I don't mean just intellectually, but with our full being and conscioulsy, effectlivly apply it 100% in our lives.........then we really don't have anything to complain about, do we?......and then we can shut down this forum....and have fun with creation.....lol!..........but the ego would say:" Bullshit! The outside world is separate from me and it is hostile. I need to defend or attack, flee or fight!"....And that is the grand deception, the beautiful illusion we deal with here and have been dealing with for thousands of years.
Many folks on here ask what to do/prepare for the earth chnages/wars, where to go to, where to be "safe". I recently came across a good passage from the channeled Cassiopaean material where the same question is asked "what to do, where to go, how to be in a safe place for the coming changes?". The reply was quite simple:" Thinking in terms of "running away from something" or "physical safety" is old 3d way of thinking. It is based on fear and the illusion of the ego that it is separate from the "hostile" outside world. It is much more effective to apply 4d way of thinking and understanding how reality is created through your Thoughts, Emotions and Beliefs.......with no exception. If you're in a state of fear, worried and are afraid of anything "out" there you will attract that which you are afraid of and fight against. However if you focus on what you want to happen and where you'd like to be then you will attract this kind of energy. Like attracts like on a frequency scale between fear and love."
This doesn't mean that one should get into denial of what is occuring on this planet. Awareness is key, always, but more like an objective observer, without buying into the game of Polarization whcih is basically the Dualistic Mindset we need to let go of.
I'd say that a big part of the shift that is occuring now is to let go of our outdated way to see and do things. Letting go of 3d "separate" way of thinking and moving int 4d "holistic" way of thinking, understanding that everything is just energy, everything is connected and things/events are a product our our own Belief System and Thoughts, will take care of most of the "problems and questions".
....but then there is the ego again who says :"No! I need to fight anything that threatens "me"!".......and for most people their beleif system is a big part of their personality/ego and would rather die than letting go.
and so round and round we go.....:-) -

Sometimes we may feel defensive, other times expansive, and hopefully as often as possible compassionate and understanding!

Yes, I agree that no matter how much we intellectually realize we are creating our own reality, somehow the "everyday reality," at least for me, takes me off that center all too often. I read something again today from The Seat of the Soul book which is related: "Begin by truly watching your own needs in action-where they are real and where they are not, and where they are not, expect to experience a negative emotion." Fear about where we are headed underlies a mistrust in the compassion of the universe.

I didnt want to pay 34 bux if I don't have some idea what the secret actually is. As far as I know it could be a religious conversion solitation. At first when I saw the trailer I thought it was a preview for the Da Vinci Code then realized it was something totally separate. I'm pretty certain I will be buying it. Would you say it's worth buying? Is it really good? -

Mon, April 24, 2006 - 11:24 AMI saw it last week. It was good, but nothing I didn't know already, for I know all about the abraham-hicks thing.
The marketing was to get people (IMO) who wouldn't normally choose to see it when it appears to be a new age hokey thing. And the way the were saying in the trailers how the church covered it up- then they didn't even show that part in the doc was a little weird.
Anyway, worth the $5 bucks even if you do know the stuff, cuz its still inspirational :) -

Tue, April 25, 2006 - 7:37 PMi watched it last night and it TOTALLY WORKS. seriously they talk about how you can even use it to get parking. three times today i visualized where i wanted to park, and i got it EXACTLY how i visualized it. the first spot was next to a blue car, then when went to park there there was a blue car. the second time was with my gf going to class, we got into the car and i said ok visualize a parking spot next to a black suv thats in the little parking lot we want. so we did even though she was joking and it STILL WORKED! then i found a spot right next to my job interview in san francisco today, everything worked out, and i had a perfect day today. seriously even be talking about how perfect it was will make it even more perfect for me tomorrow. i swear i had a great mood all day today and it helped me get a job too! marvin i highly recommend you watch it learn it and apply it. it was weird too because during the movie it gets you thinking and right when i started thinking about certain things they would litterally seconds later start talking about it, or they told us to visualize something then i visualized and moments later they had exactly what i visualized used as an example! it was so crazy. during the movie i paused it to go win the lotto because im gonna be rich too ahahha -

If you feel uneasy, bad, etc, the thought you currently have is not aligned to what you are wanting and you maybe canceling the manifestation of what you really do want if you don't change your thoughts.
We are the creators of our reality, etc.
I'm sure stuff you've heard many times before ;)

Wed, January 10, 2007 - 10:31 PMThe law of attraction certainly approaches the truth, but it doesn't encompass the entire picture.The physical plane is a collective creation which our higher selves manifested in great part prior to our (re)incarnation. As pure spirit and through a co-ordinated hierarchy of deific empowerments our universe and the very fabric of our personal reality was envisioned from pure thought. To a much more limited degree we can manifest (within this context of what has been created) miraculous things, I won't deny that. It is even possible we may slip from one parallel universe into another in our journey in order to fulfill our "thoughtdreams". In my understanding we have three parallel timelines... the positive, the negative, and the neutral probabilities.... which can, and generally do mix in varying proportions to generate a combined fourth experience... a blending of the three... and in this context we do indeed have the power to manifest across a spectrum of probabilities. But, "the Secret" does ignore a few limitations as it tries to sell utter infinities that imply absolute "karma-free" potentialities. We live in a "Context" which is built out of prior manifestations and Natural karmic laws.... which are partly flexible, yet not totally so. One can make choices that could be called narcissistic, and within certain bounds the universe would provide results... along with karmic consequences, if there are any that go along with those choices. This is why I try to educate people about food choices. It activates more karmic consequences than practically anything else we might "manifest." Choose a life in which you are empowered to eat the most delicious gourmet cuisine, and no doubt, you will enjoy both the food and the consequences of the food. Indirectly, the world might be affected in negative ways in such a limited vision. I happen to have found a way we can all have a world with minimum negative indirect karmic consequences... and maximum physical enjoyments... not to mention total spiritual liberation. There's enough other people besides me who share this raw vision that it will manifest to a large degree in our lives and in the greater physical world. The only way to grow this vision to its full potential is to share it with others. If you want more of what we collectively have at present.... keep eating as you always have, and your progression will likely remain within the context of the limitations of what can manifest out of What Currently Is. OR...Learn about raw foods and do your best to experience the benefits to yourself and the rest of our reality (can we stop the massive, hideous slaughter of animals please?... there's No Way to manifest meat without Monstrously Undesirable Karmic side effects) while we still have almost 6 years to truly change the world, rather than just tinker with some very narrow personal issues. That's "The Secret" I have to share. What we choose to manifest on our dinnerplates affects the world and our personal being in Huge ways, more than any other issue. I can make up 100 quotes for you better than these. If you want to realize the Deity within (and without), you've got to let go of the Necro-mania and the narrowly-defined spiritualities. Food is Spirit-In-Your-Face.... and we all have the responsibility to know as much about it (beyond the smells and flavors) as we can.... or forfeit the physical incarnation as hundreds of millions seem resigned to do in the various "mass ascension mythologies" that are the logical outcome of Necro-maniacal food fixations that have to be willed away by the portion of humanity that is in touch with what is necessary for Life to continue and flourish beyond 2012.

What you think is what you atract no doubt about it.
Problem becomes, when we forget we have isues to deal with, we cannot put them under the curpet. For basicly this film shows us exactly that. No need to clean your inner world....
But where it will go? Where do you push those things. Into unconsciousness of all and it pops out in someone elses life( He/she atracted it by his/her way of thinking most likely near you), for we are conecteed. and than we can go on and on by complaining how the things go. How she/he is....Totaly : duality
You have to deal with your own issues, feers, doubts, existential feer, etc,etc and yes
then it works.
And this year will be pritty much of that kind of revelation, for some to be difficult to deal with.

We are co-creators in an imperfect world and ignoring painful truth is a common practice among many. I believe the cozy middle is a wonderful place.
