Sat, June 28, 2008 - 2:11 PMa tribute to our fallen soldiers
in the arms of an angel
worth watching...
worth remembering our fallen friends.
everytime i hear this song i think of 911 and being there at ground zero. they played this song alot about that incident.... "being pulled from the wreckage..." all the people who have had to die and are dying in this tragedy. so deeply saddening.

Mon, June 30, 2008 - 5:26 PMI love gamelan and this is a favorite, pre-1940's classical piece. The music dramatically changed after the Balinese were exposed to American jazz; personally I prefer the old stuff.
It's set to a slideshow of digital images I made, def an acquired taste, so if even if you don't like the art crank up the song...it's really beautiful!

Mon, July 7, 2008 - 2:27 AMContrast. The ability to go to various extremes of energies without dropping a lot of essential information out of your auric bodies.... because it takes a full measure of dark-light-color multi-polarities to navigate and effectively handle the rough emotional terrain spread before us. That's why I'm not constantly positive, because the energies coming in have to be processed, and those energetics can be the proverbial max. (new functioning archetypal paradigms) 49% dark-neg... which can't just be ignored if you seek wholism. To experience, contemplate, assimilate the dynamic spectrums is to dance in a flow that empowers creative possibilities....... IF you are equipped to handle all the energies...... which can be mind-blowing...... and I have found the nourishment from living-raw Enables superreflexive-luminous mindflow development, as natural systems are able to function as designed, rather than in a limited condition of un-ease.
So here's one of my (similarly 'of the dark') recurring theme songs (ever since 1971) that emerges with periodic frequency:

Re: a place for songs we love
Sun, July 6, 2008 - 7:46 PMFailure
I, I've been lonely
And I, I've been blind
And I,. I've learned nothing
So my hands are firmly tied
To the sinking leadweight
of failure
I've worked hard all my life
Money slips through my hands
My face in the mirror tells me
It's no surprise that I'm
Pushing the stone up the hill
of failure
They tempt me with violence
They punish me with ideals
And they crush me with an image of my
life that's nothing but unreal
Except on the goddamned slaveship
of failure
I'll drown here trying
to get up for some air
But each time I think I breathe
I'm laid on with a double share
of the punishing burden
of failure
I don't deserve to be down here
But I'll never leave
And I've learned one thing
You can't escape the beast
In the null and void pit
of failure
When I get my hands on some money
I'll kiss it's green skin
And I'll ask it's dirty face
"Where the hell have you been?"
"I am the fuel that fires the engine
of failure."
I'll be old and broken down
I'll forget who and where I am
I'll be senile or forgotten
But I'll remember and understand
You can bank your hard-earned money
on failure
I saw my father crying
I saw my mother break her hand
On a wall that wouldn't weep
But that certainly held in
The mechanical moans of a dying man
Who was a failure
My back hurts me when I bend
Because I carry a load
My brain hurts me like a knife-hole
Because I've yet to be shown
How to pull myself out from
The sucking quicksand
of failure
Some people live in hell
Many bastards succeed
But I. I've learned nothing
I can't even elegantly bleed
Out the poison blood
of failure

All those great musicians, poets and creators were well aware of something coming and rapidly unfolding for humanity. Viet-Nam, Mai 68, Cold War, the peace and love revolution were the first global bursts of consciouness, the first sunspots on our souls... They were just off by a few decades but still they uplifted the spirit of consciousness at that time and, probably taking the media by surprise, this conscioussness revolution was given worldwide attention. But what about today? Have we carried the torch or lost trace of its light, once again... sigh. Isn't time for us to ''finish the job'' and blow away, once and for all, all those lies?
GENESIS - MAD MAN MOON
www.youtube.com/watch
Was it summer when the river ran dry,
Or was it just another dam.
When the evil of a snowflake in June
Could still be a source of relief.
O how I love you, I once cried long ago,
But I was the one who decided to go.
To search beyond the final crest,
Though I'd heard it said just birds could dwell so high.
So I pretended to have wings for my arms
And took off in the air.
I flew to places which the clouds never see,
Too close to the deserts of sand,
Where a thousand mirages, the shepherds of lies
Forced me to land and take a disguise.
I would welcome a horse's kick to send me back
If I could find a horse not made of sand.
If this desert's all there'll ever be
Then tell me what becomes of me.
A fall of rain?
That must have been another of your dreams,
A dream of mad man moon.
Hey man,
I'm the sand man.
And boy have I news for you;
They're gonna throw you in gaol
And you know they can't fail
'Cos sand is thicker than blood.
But a prison in sand
Is a haven in hell,
For a gaol can give you a goal
[and a] goal can find you a role
On a muddy pitch in Newcastle,
Where it rains so much
You can't wait for a touch
Of sun and sand, sun and sand...
Within the valley of shadowless death
They pray for thunderclouds and rain,
But to the multitude who stand in the rain
Heaven is where the sun shines.
The grass will be greener till the stems turn to brown
And thoughts will fly higher till the earth brings them down.
Forever caught in desert lands one has to learn
To disbelieve the sea.
If this desert's all there'll ever be
Then tell me what becomes of me.
A fall of rain?
That must have been another of your dreams,
A dream of mad man moon.
SUPERTRAMP - LOGICAL SONG
www.youtube.com/watch
When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily,
joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
clinical, intellectual, cynical.
There are times when all the world's asleep,
the questions run too deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.
Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
liberal, fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respecable, presentable, a vegetable!
At night, when all the world's asleep,
the questions run so deep
for such a simple man.
Won't you please, please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd
but please tell me who I am.

Lovers' Leap
Walking across the sitting-room, I turn the television off.
Sitting beside you, I look into your eyes.
As the sound of motor cars fades in the night time,
I swear I saw your face change, it didn't seem quite right.
...And it's hello babe with your guardian eyes so blue
Hey my baby don't you know our love is true.
Coming closer with our eyes, a distance falls around our bodies.
Out in the garden, the moon seems very bright,
Six saintly shrouded men move across the lawn slowly.
The seventh walks in front with a cross held high in hand.
...And it's hey babe your supper's waiting for you.
Hey my baby, don't you know our love is true.
I've been so far from here,
Far from your warm arms.
It's good to feel you again,
It's been a long long time. Hasn't it?
The Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man
I know a farmer who looks after the farm.
With water clear, he cares for all his harvest.
I know a fireman who looks after the fire.
You, can't you see he's fooled you all.
Yes, he's here again, can't you see he's fooled you all.
Share his peace,
Sign the lease.
He's a supersonic scientist,
He's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary man.
Look, look into my mouth he cries,
And all the children lost down many paths,
I bet my life you'll walk inside
Hand in hand,
gland in gland
With a spoonful of miracle,
He's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary.
We will rock you, rock you little snake,
We will keep you snug and warm.
Ikhnaton And Itsacon And Their Band Of Merry Men
Wearing feelings on our faces while our faces took a rest,
We walked across the fields to see the children of the West,
But we saw a host of dark skinned warriors
standing still below the ground,
Waiting for battle.
The fight's begun, they've been released.
Killing foe for peace...bang, bang, bang. Bang, bang, bang...
And they're giving me a wonderful potion,
'Cos I cannot contain my emotion.
And even though I'm feeling good,
Something tells me I'd better activate my prayer capsule.
Today's a day to celebrate, the foe have met their fate.
The order for rejoicing and dancing has come from our warlord.
How Dare I Be So Beautiful?
Wandering through the chaos the battle has left,
We climb up a mountain of human flesh,
To a plateau of green grass, and green trees full of life.
A young figure sits still by a pool,
He's been stamped "Human Bacon" by some butchery tool.
(He is you)
Social Security took care of this lad.
We watch in reverence, as Narcissus is turned to a flower.
A flower?
Willow Farm
If you go down to Willow Farm,
to look for butterflies, flutterbyes, gutterflies
Open your eyes, it's full of surprise, everyone lies,
like the fox on the rocks,
and the musical box.
Oh, there's Mum & Dad, and good and bad,
and everyone's happy to be here.
There's Winston Churchill dressed in drag,
he used to be a British flag, plastic bag, what a drag.
The frog was a prince, the prince was a brick, the brick was an egg,
the egg was a bird.
(Fly away you sweet little thing, they're hard on your tail)
Hadn't you heard?
(They're going to change you into a human being!)
Yes, we're happy as fish and gorgeous as geese,
and wonderfully clean in the morning.
We've got everything, we're growing everything,
We've got some in
We've got some out
We've got some wild things floating about
Everyone, we're changing everyone,
you name them all,
We've had them here,
And the real stars are still to appear.
ALL CHANGE!
Feel your body melt;
Mum to mud to mad to dad
Dad diddley office, Dad diddley office,
You're all full of ball.
Dad to dam to dum to mum
Mum diddley washing, Mum diddley washing,
You're all full of ball.
Let me hear you lies, we're living this up to the eyes.
Ooee-ooee-ooee-oowaa
Momma I want you now.
And as you listen to my voice
To look for hidden doors, tidy floors, more applause.
You've been here all the time,
Like it or not, like what you got,
You're under the soil (the soil, the soil),
Yes, deep in the soil (the soil, the soil, the soil, the soil!).
So we'll end with a whistle and end with a bang
and all of us fit in our places.
Apocalypse In 9/8 (Co-Starring the delicious talents of Gabble Ratchet)
With the guards of Magog, swarming around,
The Pied Piper takes his children underground.
Dragons coming out of the sea,
Shimmering silver head of wisdom looking at me.
He brings down the fire from the skies,
You can tell he's doing well by the look in human eyes.
Better not compromise.
It won't be easy.
666 is no longer alone,
He's getting out the marrow in your back bone,
And the seven trumpets blowing sweet rock and roll,
Gonna blow right down inside your soul.
Pythagoras with the looking glass reflects the full moon,
In blood, he's writing the lyrics of a brand new tune.
And it's hey babe, with your guardian eyes so blue,
Hey my baby, don't you know our love is true,
I've been so far from here,
Far from your loving arms,
Now I'm back again, and babe it's gonna work out fine.
As Sure As Eggs Is Eggs (Aching Men's Feet)
Can't you feel our souls ignite
Shedding ever changing colours, in the darkness of the fading night,
Like the river joins the ocean, as the germ in a seed grows
We have finally been freed to get back home.
There's an angel standing in the sun, and he's crying with a loud voice,
"This is the supper of the mighty one",
Lord of Lords,
King of Kings,
Has returned to lead his children home,
To take them to the new Jerusalem. -

www.youtube.com/watch
"Amazigh" and variants of that word, means "free man" in berber languages, and this is the source of our word "amazon". They are the indigenous people of north africa. Genetic evidence is that the large majority of north africans are berber, and that their ancestors have been there since the upper paleolithic, perhaps 50.000 years (!) They have fiercely defended their land and culture, are still doing so and resisting both western and arab cultural influences.....well, except the electric guitar and youtube thank goodness. William burroughs called berber musicians " a four thousand year old rock band". I love the driving rhythm. Lots of energy.
Women have a much more important place in berber society than in arabic culture, and the berbers tend to be a lot looser in their islamic beliefs. That is one source of friction between berber and arab societies. There are several conflicts involving berber tribes fighting for more autonomy or outright independence. Their music is a part of this, and has brought a lot of international attention to their cause.

I'm so frustrated
Some things are making me so sick inside
Aw go with your heart, go with your heart
Yeah right
Quit tuggin' me
Aw, i'm just not good enough for you
Let's change
Let's be something everybody else is
Aw so much built up inside
It's fucking ridiculous
I don't know if i should freak tha fuck out on you
Or just sit back and laugh
You want more
You don't have anything
Me, me... i have everything
What more could i ask for? Nothing at all
Why did it have to be this way at tha end
Why did it have to be this way at tha end -

The Beloved- Sweet Harmony
is it right or wrong
try to find a place
we can all belong?
be as one
try to get on by
if we unify?
we should really try...
all this time
spinning round and round
made the same mistakes
that we've always found
surely now
we could move along
make a better world?
no it can't be wrong
let's come together
right now
oh yeah
in sweet harmony
let's come together
right now
oh yeah
in sweet harmony
let's come together
right now
oh yeah
in sweet harmony
let's come together
right now
oh yeah
time is running out
let there be no doubt
we should sort things out
if we care
like we say we do
not just empty words
for a week or two
make the world
your priority
try to live your life
ecologically
play a part
in a greater scheme
try to live the dream
on a wider scene
let's come together
right now
oh yeah
in sweet harmony -

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of fire
Those dreams that tie two hearts that will never die
And near the flames
The shadows play in the shape of the mans desire
This desert rose
Whose shadow bears the secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume that would torture you more than this
And now she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
This fire burns
I realize that nothings as it seems
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above
I close my eyes
The rare perfume is the sweet intoxication of love
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
Sweet desert rose
Whose shadow bears the secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume that would torture you more than this
Sweet desert rose
This memory of hidden hearts and souls
This desert flower
This rare perfurme is the sweet intoxication of love -

Your Not Alone lyrics by Olive
In a way, its all a matter of time
I will not worry for you
You'll be just fine
Take my thoughts with you
And when you look behind
You will surely see a face that you recognize
*chorus*
Your not alone
I'll wait till the end of time
Open your mind, surely its plain to see
Your not alone
I'll wait till the end of time for you
Open your mind, surely its time to be with me
It is the distance that makes life a little hard
Two minds that once were close, now so many miles apart
I will not falter though, I hold on to your hope
Safely back where you belong
And see how our love has grown

-
Re: a place for songs we love
Thu, August 28, 2008 - 11:12 PMno problem here
this is music hour
we all can discuss and dream about 2012
but some of us would actually like to get there
so the road to year 2012 is a bit rocky
we take a break once in while; some even go as far to call it: off topic
also, humor hour is somewhere
we just added comedy hour as to differentiate from the actual humor of the day
and all here are encouraged to work on their stand up routine
you never know when you will need a backup
we also have confession hour; if something maybe in your childhood is bothering you, feel free
we have health hour
death is even analyzed
hell, we even have our share of trolls, stalkers, dreamers, etc
nice of you to remind us
that the weekend is here...almost -

Fri, August 29, 2008 - 2:15 AMcuz sometimes we need a break from all the serious stuff
and just shake it and dance! dancing is part of planetary shifting, doncha ' know!
geezus, even most of our songs are serious....
see even when we're letting our hair down, we still got our eyes on the ball....
like a school dance party of the phsyics geeks, we still stand with our eyes closed, punch (spiked) in hand, swaying to the deep sounds of some King Tubby, the Smiths, the Cure, Bob Marley, or Bjork......we're just brainy speculators tryin' to have some fun and let the steam off..................................................... -

Fri, August 29, 2008 - 4:10 AMhey..... i read that??? :)
if you had my life ya would be in a nutty bar right now..
considering all of my past jobs and people ive had to deal with in the last 15 years....
i think i made it just fine...
ive been through much much worse hence why this stuff regardless to is bullshit isnt bad on a scale from 1-10...
you crap is a 4...
im my life that is.. ive seen 10 and it wasnt pretty...
you dont know real hell till you look at my past between 1999-2004
trust me if what you think your giving me is hell then please ill show you there is much worse out there then you think...
you dont even know what these eyes have seen.....everything my friend......everything. here and the "other side..

i was dead 6 hours and woke up like it never happend? seen some crazy stuff and there is no reason i should have been here to talk...
ive seen the real otherside..... not the baby ether crap....astro bull...
death... and i live to tell....
i think my friend that fun guy that used to live at my place in new hampshire but im not sure if he or the energy of "him"
helped bring me back.........?
no i wasnt eating breakfast with him that day but he was there live and in action..........he's a real matee that guy...
funny how it kinda fits into the comming of the matias story...
happend by accident, without warning... left the body.. didnt think i was comming back seconds after i realized what happend..
the 6 hours later my eye opened and the clock read 330 pm...
i still dont understand it.. beautiful it was though..
not 100% like other reports....of death... i was a speck or molicule of bright light traveling to 3 places....
i rememeber my mind could still think during the out of body..... something was with me also showing me things but i couldnt see it , it was next to me by my side...
ive seen some shit but the experience was the ultimatee.
if that was death then really its a beautiful jurney back home trust me someday when you die you will rememebr this and think....wow he was f-ing not kidding....
oh well thought i share....lv-s-

"Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky"
www.youtube.com/watch
Pink Floyd Sorrow Lyrics
Songwriters: N/A
Complimentary "Sorrow" Ringtone
The sweet smell of a great sorrow lies over the land
Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky:
A man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers,
But awakes to a morning with no reason for waking
He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise
In his youth or a dream, he can't be precise
He's chained forever to a world that's departed
It's not enough, it's not enough
His blood has frozen & curdled
His knees have trembled & given way in the night
His hand has weakened at the moment of truth
His step has faltered
One world, one soul
Time pass, the river rolls
It's not enough it's not enough
His hand has faltered
.... .... ......
And he talks to the river of lost love and dedication
And silent replies that swirl invitation
Flow dark and troubled to an oily sea
A grim intimation of what is to be
There's an unceasing wind that blows through this night
And there's dust in my eyes, that blinds my sight
And silence that speaks so much louder that words,
Of promises broken -

Scattered words and empty thoughts
Seem to pour from my heart
I've never felt so torn before
Seems I don't know where to start
But its now that I feel your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
Though the questions still fog up my mind
With promises I still seem to bear
Even when answers slowly unwind
It's my heart I see you prepare
But its now, that I feel, your grace fall like rain
From every fingertip washing away my pain
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe
Well the only place I can go is into your arms
Where I throw to you my feeble prayers well in brokenness
I can see that this was your will for me
Help me to know that you are near
I still believe in your faithfulness
I still believe in your truth
I still believe in your holy word
Even when I don't see, I still believe -

Wed, September 3, 2008 - 12:33 PM"What Do You Want From Me"
As you look around this room tonight
Settle in your seat and dim the lights
Do you want my blood, do you want my tears
What do you want
What do you want from me
Should I sing until I can't sing any more
Play these strings until my fingers are raw
You're so hard to please
What do you want from me
Do you think that I know something you don't know
What do you want from me
If I don't promise you the answers would you go
What do you want from me
Should I stand out in the rain
Do you want me to make a daisy chain for you
I'm not the one you need
What do you want from me
You can have anything you want
You can drift, you can dream, even walk on water
Anything you want
You can own everything you see
Sell your soul for complete control
Is that really what you need
You can lose yourself this night
See inside there is nothing to hide
Turn and face the light
What do you want from me

A gem from the Nether-lands...
Sat, September 13, 2008 - 9:10 PMA gem from Holland you've probably never heard:
www.youtube.com/watch
It's from a dutch reggae band called 'Doe Maar';
I grew up when these guys topped the charts in Holland,
so much nostalgia there for me! :)
Here's the lyrics translated:
Go sit because I want talk once with you
I am for a long time no longer as glad as then
No fright but not, I do not want leave you, no
There is something and I can do nothing
We come nothing too short, we have everything
A child, a house, a car and each other
But you know my sweet treasure what the case is, ah
I seek something more, I just don't know where
Is this all?
Is this all?
Is this all that there is?
We are now much like a piece in 13 parts
In the end I guess the joke's on us all...
we live loyally the same life like so many others
I want something more, I want to be more 'loose'
Is this all?
Is this all?
Is this all that there is? -

Was letting go not taking part
Was the hardest part
And the strangest thing
Was waiting for that bell to ring
It was the strangest start
I could feel it go down
Bittersweet I could taste in my mouth
Silver lining the clouds
Oh, and I,
I wish that I could work it out
And the hardest part
Was letting go not taking part
You really broke my heart
And I tried to sing
But I couldn't think of anything
And that was the hardest part
I could feel it go down
You left the sweetest taste in my mouth
Silver lining the cloud
Oh, and I,
Oh, and I,
I wonder what it's all about
I wonder what it's all about
Everything I know is wrong
Everything I do it just comes undone
And everything is torn apart
Oh and that's the hardest part

Born from an egg on a mountain top, The punkiest Monkey that ever popped, She knew every magic trick under the sun, To tease the gods And everyone can have some fun. Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic ooh What a cocky, saucey Monkey this one is. All the Gods were angry and they punished her. Until she was saved by a kindly artist, And that was the start of their pilgrimage quest. Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic, Monkey magic ooh! Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. As consciousness begins to develop and perceive more, the experience of the elemental qualities also becomes more developed. What was formerly the simple impression of different rays or colors of light now undergoes a change. The light begins to integrate itself and cohere into 'tig le', points or balls of light in varying sizes. It is within these spheres of concentrated light that we experience the 'Mandalas of the Peaceful and Wrathful Deities'. After the mandala of the peaceful deities comes the 'Mandala of the Wrathful Deities'. Ignorance again causes the brilliance and power of these forms, spontaneous expressions of the mind's own nature, to be perceived as something external and threatening. At this point the after-death experience becomes terrifying and repellent, instead of an experience of the unity of the perceiver and the perceived. The possibility of enlightenment in the after-death state rests upon three things. The first is the fundamentally enlightened nature of mind, the seed of Buddhahood, without which nothing would be possible. The second is the blessing inherent in the pure forms of the deities. The third is the connection we have established with those deities through empowerment, and the understanding we have, both intellectually and intuitively, of what is actually taking place. When all three elements come together, the possibility exists of achieving liberation during the instant of confronting the mandalas of the deities. If this liberation does not happen in the interval between the 'chö nyi' bardo and the 'Bardo of Becoming', the benefits of receiving empowerment and understanding teachings about the nature of the after-death experience, that of the 'Bardo of Becoming'. This means that we can either experience a positive rebirth in the cycle of samsara or, in some cases, achieve existence in what we term the 'Buddha Realms', a great and sure step towards ultimate Enlightenment. To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee. Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. Hear me, O LORD; for thy loving kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies. Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee. Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein. For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession. The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein. Thou hast made this earth with thy hand, and the waters, and the winds, and the vegetation, and all the cattle, and all the feathered fowl, and all the fish, and all the creeping things, and all the wild animals therof. The desert is the lawful possession of the son of Nut. The Two Lands are content to crown thee upon the throne of thy father, like Ra. Thou rollest up into the horizon, thou hast set light over the darkness, thou sendest forth air from thy plumes, and thou floodest the Two Lands like the Disk at daybreak. Thy crown penetrateth the height of heaven, thou art the companion of the stars, and the guide of every god. Thou art beneficent in decree and speech, the favoured one of the Great Company of the Gods, and the beloved of the Little Company of the Gods. His sister hath protected him, and hath repulsed the fiends, and turned aside calamities of evil. She uttered the spell with the magical power of her mouth. Her tongue was perfect, and it never halted at a word. Beneficent in command and word was Isis, the woman of magical spells, the advocate of her brother. She sought him untiringly, she wandered round and round about this earth in sorrow, and she alighted not without finding him. She made light with her feathers, she created air with her wings, and she uttered the death wail for her brother. She raised up the inactive members of whose heart was still, she drew from him his essence, she made an heir, she reared the child in loneliness, and the place where he was not known, and he grew in strength and stature, and his hand was mighty in the House of Keb. The Company of the Gods rejoiced, rejoiced, at the coming of Horus, the son of Osiris, whose heart was firm, the triumphant, the son of Isis, the heir of Osiris. Men imagine that thought can be kept secret, but it cannot. It rapidly crystallizes into habit, and habit solidifies into habits of drunkenness and sensuality, which solidify into circumstances of destitution and disease. Impure thoughts of every kind crystallize into enervating and confusing habits, which solidify into distracting and adverse circumstances. Thoughts of fear, doubt, and indecision crystallize into weak, unmanly, and irresolute habits, which solidify into circumstances of failure, indigence, and slavish dependence. Let a man cease from his sinful thoughts, and all the world will soften toward him, and be ready to help him. Let him put away his weakly and sickly thoughts, and lo! opportunities will spring up on every hand to aid his strong resolves. Let him encourage good thoughts, and no hard fate shall bind him down to wretchedness and shame. The world is your kaleidoscope, and the varying combinations of colors which at every succeeding moment it presents to you are the exquisitely adjusted pictures of your evermoving thoughts. It is true: as I traveled through your past, I became aware that often in your life you took the wrong course. You were running in circles, unknowing which course to take, you were confused and run down. However, I know for a fact that you can find a way out, for I know which course you should take to escape from this labyrinth. Through me the way into the suffering city, Through me the way to the eternal pain, Through me the way that runs among the lost. Justice urged on my high artificer; My maker was divine authority, The highest wisdom, and the primal love. Before me nothing but eternal things were made, And I endure eternally. But now, Sisters, accustomed to sing with me, let us sing the work proposed, and strike the cithara. -

Fri, December 5, 2008 - 7:13 PMConjure One- Center of the Sun
Young girl in the market
Music to the men
When the men leave
Her eyes are red
When her eyes are closed again
she sees the dark market of above (violins)
And she sings
“They say the most horrible things
But I hear violins, when I close my eyes
I am at the center of the sun
And I cannot be hurt
By anything this wicked world has done
Young boy in the market
Follows all the men
When the men leave
He's out of his head
When his eyes are closed again
he sees the dark market of above (violins)
And he sings
They break the most beautiful things
But I hear violins, when I close my eyes
I am at the center of the sun
And I cannot be hurt
By anything this wicked world has done
I look into your eyes
And I am at the center of the sun
And I cannot be hurt
By anything this wicked world has done
(Center of the sun)
Young boy in the market
Sees the girl alone
And asks her
Have you lost your way home
She sings
You say the most beautiful things, just like my violins
I look into your eyes
I am at the center of the sun
And I cannot be hurt
By anything this wicked world has done
When I close my eyes
I am at the center of the sun
And I cannot be hurt
By anything this wicked world has done
'Cause
I hear violins
I hear violins
I hear violins
I hear violins
(Center of the sun)
I hear ...violins

Mon, January 12, 2009 - 10:26 PMBruce Springsteen - Radio Nowhere
I was trying to find my way home,
But all I heard was a drone.
Bouncin' off a satellite
Crushing the last long American night.
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
I was sitting around a dirt dial
Just another lost number in a file.
Been in some kinda dark cove
Just searching for a world with some soul.
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I just want to hear some rhythm.
I just want to hear some rhythm
I just want to hear some rhythm.
I just want to hear some rhythm.
I want a thousand guitars.
I want pounding drums.
I want a million different voices speaking in tongues.
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I was driving thru the misty rain
Yeah, searching for a mystery train.
Bopping thru the wild blue
Trying to make a connection with you.
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
This is radio nowhere.
Is there anybody alive out there?
Is there anybody alive out there?
I just want to hear some rhythm (you swoon.)
I just want to hear some rhythm (you swoon.)
I just want to hear you swoon.
I just want to hear you swoon.
I just want to hear you swoon.
I just want to hear you swoon.
I just want to hear you swoon.
I just want to hear you swoon. -

Mon, January 12, 2009 - 10:28 PMJimmy Barnes - Driving Wheels
Well he's following the broken lines
Living on borrowed time
Motel rooms and broken hearts all left behind
You swear he couldn't close his eyes
As he shifts into overdrive
He's been up and down this road so many times
The man of his own
And searching just keeps him proving
That only the road
Can tame the rebel in his soul
It's the rhythm of the highway
As he rolls on down
And city lights as they fade from sight
Drives the man behind the driving wheels
Like a cowboy in a rodeo
Riding hard but never letting go
You'll be wand'ring through the twilight of his life
Waylon Jennings on the radio
Country music and engines roar
Like a shooting star across a desert sky
And he's got a home
But it's out on the blue horizon
Heaven only knows
There's still a rebel in his soul
It's the rhythm of the highway
As he rolls on down
And city lights as they fade from sight
Drives the man behind the driving wheels
And chasing southern lights
In the distant sky
And open plains with the mountains high
Drives the man behind the driving wheels
Well he's thought about settling down
A little diner on the edge of town
But in this world of push and shove
He's still got freedom in his blood
It's the rhythm of the highway...

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of fire
Those dreams that tie two hearts that will never die
And near the flames
The shadows play in the shape of the mans desire
The desert rose
Whose shadow bears the secret promise
That desert flower
No sweet perfume that would torture you more than that
And now she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
Thiat fire burns
I realize that nothings as it seems
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above IS THAT A KEY WORD?SKY?? YEAH IM TALKING TO YOU! ?

The rare perfume is the sweet intoxication of love

Sat, April 18, 2009 - 3:26 AMWhat If The Storm Ends? Lyrics
Send "What If The Storm Ends?" Ringtone to your Cell
What if the storm ends?
And I don't see you
As you are now
Ever again
The perfect halo
Of gold hair and lightning
Sets you off against
The planets last dance
Just for a minute
The siilver-forked sky
Lifts you up like a star
That I will follow
But now it's found us
Like I have a found you
I don't wanna run
Just overwhelm me
What if the storm ends?
At least that's nothing
Except the memory
A distant echo
I won't pin down
I've walked unsettled
Rattle cage after cage
Until my blood boils
I wanna see you
As you are now
Every single day
That I am living
Painted in flames
A peeling thunder
Be the lightning in me
That strikes relentless
What if the storm ends?
And I don't see you
As you are now
Ever again
The perfect halo
Of gold hair and lightning
Sets you off against
The planets last dance
Just for a minute
The siilver-forked sky
Lifts you up like a star
That I will follow
But now it's found us
Like I have a found you
I don't wanna run
Just overwhelm me -

Mon, May 4, 2009 - 12:59 PMShen - Embrace
Lyrics:
lines of forgetting
change to lines of flight
leaves drifting
petals in the night
our magic is a surgery
closing open wounds
we stretch across the void
searching for the womb
remember who you are
and what you came to do
soak it all in
whatever you do
remember who you are
and what you came to do
soak it all in
soak it all in
times of regret
turn to times of might
the river never stops
recognize the sight
the power of being
opening to life
it could take a thousand years
it could happen in a night
remember who you are
and what you came to do
soak it all in
whatever you do
remember who you are
and what you came to do
soak it all in
whatever you do

We pounce like left limb leopard

You're wrong to confuse me with regular riff-raff, I got me cause and calling
Never have I held any love for stalling

You down for rebellion left-handed cruff?(glove) we embrace the millenium

Ticka-ticka tock my golden pen
Scribble 'pon the paper from yassa to when
We drop style 'pon the heathens dem
Those who can't dig it well I feel the problem
Aint no record that can hold me, I'm oversized
Ears ever be open to the words of the wise
But there's untold cats on my corner perpetrating
Read a few books and now their talking

Plus, full of cool (for the crew) like cooly folk
Mixing up the Guinness with the raw egg yolk
Cos it's all about strength while we walk through the valley of the snide(snipe), heathens
Get thee from my sight, you cats is ever eager

How the hell you try to tell me coca-cola got fizz?

You front like you be (Uri) scholar, smit (shit) smells pretence
Yous best get off your horse, drink your milk, get the frig out

What the frig makes you friggers want to frig with this?
Now you fools got me lairy (living) with this mental fist
That I wear with knuckledusters, taking out these frogs in their clusters
Three by three, five by five
How would you describe this left handed loony
Toony val toony (votoony), dancegate crasher (pressure)
Heading through the back door straight to the bar
Then I'm gonna get me some firewater
Then I'm gonna scope out a young fine daughter
Ah yes, its my wayward nature

Alone I go with my sorrow
Alone goes my sentence
To run is my destiny
To escape the law
Lost in the heart of the great Babylon
They call me
clandestine
For not having any papers
To a city of the north
I went to work
I left my life
Between Ceuta and

I’m a line in the sea
A ghost in the city
My life is forbidden
So says the authority
Alone I go with my sorrow
Alone goes my sentence
To run is my destiny
For having no papers
Lost in the heart
Of the great Babylon
They call me clandestine
I’m the lawbreaker
Black Hand clandestine
Peruvian clandestine

I'll be with them asleep or dreaming
I'll be there when they wake up screaming
at the hour of death I will nurse them
to have a moment more to curse them
watch the maggots crawl out of them
hear the angels call above them
watch them as the cold air sucks them
down to hell good night good luck
then if any should escape above me
beg and cheat until they trust me
drag them down to be damned with me
laugh at them as they forgive me
Mothers eyes are sparking diamonds
still the moon shows no likeness
roses wither may god deliver
the rake at the gates of hell tonight
I wish that they could walk forever
on the earth alone unfettered
until they pray for consummation
until they beg for sweet damnation
then I'll come and bring them water
bring them hope, bring them laughter
raise their hopes both sad and sunken
slash them up as they lie there drunken
push them down into the foul mud
until they choke up on their own blood
drag them out before their last breath
to take away the mercy of death
mothers eyes are sparking diamonds
still the moon shows no likeness
roses wither may god deliver
the rake at the gates of hell tonight

We can reach the sea
They won't follow me
Shadows they fear the sun
We'll make it if we run!
Run from the memory
Je nage, mais les sons me suivent
Left my name with the border guards
A name that I don't need
Ce sera un long voyage
Sur les vagues de l'oubli
Run from the memory
Je nage, mais les sons me suivent
Stop now before it's too late
Been eating in the ghetto on a hundred dollar plate
Nothing lasts forever
That's the way it's gotta be
There's a great black wave in the middle of the sea
For me
For you
For me
It's always for you
Stop now before it's too late
Your lover was for hire
Have you noticed he's been late
Nothing lasts forever
That's the way it's gotta be
There's a great black wave in the middle of the sea
For me
For you
For me
It's always for you
The sound is not asleep, it's moving under my feet
The sound is not asleep, it's moving under my feet
The sound is not asleep, it's moving under my feet
The sound is not asleep, it's moving under my feet -

Sat, October 10, 2009 - 8:24 AMWaiting for the Worms (Waters)
"Eins, zwei, drei, alle!"
Ooooh, you cannot reach me now
Ooooh, no matter how you try
Goodbye, cruel world, it's over
Walk on by.
Sitting in a bunker here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come.
In perfect isolation here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come.
We're {waiting to succeed} and going to convene outside Brixton
Town Hall where we're going to be...
Waiting to cut out the deadwood.
Waiting to clean up the city.
Waiting to follow the worms.
Waiting to put on a black shirt.
Waiting to weed out the weaklings.
Waiting to smash in their windows
And kick in their doors.
Waiting for the final solution
To strengthen the strain.
Waiting to follow the worms.
Waiting to turn on the showers
And fire the ovens.
Waiting for the queens and the coons
and the reds and the jews.
Waiting to follow the worms.
Would you like to see Britannia
Rule again, my friend?
All you have to do is follow the worms.
Would you like to send our colored cousins
Home again, my friend?
All you need to do is follow the worms.
www.youtube.com/watch
The worms crawl in and the worms crawl out
The ones that crawl in are lean and thin
The ones that crawl out are fat and stout
Your eyes fall in and your teeth fall out
Your brains come tumbling down your snout
Be merry my friends
Be merry -

Sat, October 10, 2009 - 8:56 AMA DUSTY LITTLE SONG
All my father left me
Was a dusty little swag
And a pair of tiny booties
In a crumpled paper bag,
And he left me in confusion
And he left me in despair
And he left the swag and booties
For the walk to God knows where.

Re: a place for songs we love
Sun, October 11, 2009 - 12:15 AMWhen all the world was very young
And mountain magic heavy hung
The supermen would walk in file
Guardians of a loveless isle
And gloomy browed with superfear their tragic endless lives
Could heave nor sigh
In solemn, perverse serenity, wondrous beings chained to life
Strange games they would play then
No death for the perfect men
Life rolls into one for them
So softly a superGod cries
Where all were minds in uni-thought
Powers weird by mystics taught
No pain, no joy, no power too great
Colossal strength to grasp at fate
Where sad-eyed mermen tossed in slumbers
Nightmare dreams no mortal mind could hold
A man would tear his brother's flesh, a chance to die
To turn to mold.
Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
Strange, mad celebration
So softly a supergod cries
Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
Strange, mad celebration
So softly a supergod dies

You are the sun and moon and stars are you
And I could never run away from you
You try at working out chaotic things
And why, should I believe myself not you?

You, me and everything caught in the fire
I can see me drowning

Wed, December 16, 2009 - 5:14 AMThe San bushmen are at the very base of the human family tree according to both DNA and linguistic evidence. They are some of my very favorite peoples. I love their choice in botanicals, for one thing, they have always done a shitload of good cannabis and in conjunction with the herb kanna, which i much love and have procured in abundance. The two of these act synergetically, kanna being an empathegen and SRI. Anyway, they practice a type of kundalini healing, calling the power n'um and raising it by all night dancing sessions with hypnotic soundtrack supplied by the nomadic band. Neolithic rock.
